One of the phrases my clients know all too well is, “We can do better.” Some of my gifts as a fashion stylist are my eye and deep understanding of quality and luxury. Shopping and consumerism shouldn’t be about “good enough”. If we are going to spend our hard-earned money on something, it should make our existence better in some way. It should sing to us and increase our energy field so that our song gets louder for others to hear. My secret sauce as a stylist is not about buying good “enough for right now” but waiting for that item that the heavens open up and angels come out of the sky and say, “THIS IS IT! THIS IS PERFECT FOR YOU! RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW.” What I do is about honesty, trust, quality- items that stand the test of time both in timelessness and craftsmanship.
In Building Natchiketa, scrimping on quality is not an option. We use organic cotton muslin because we believe and know deep within our being that products closer to the earth hold a frequency that aligns our personal frequency with the earth. Your child is a sacred being who has just come to this planet to do great things. Keeping them in the alignment and frequency of Mother Earth is so healthy for their energetic biofield. Our children remember so much of who we are before we came into our bodies. Creating a safe, comfortable space to foster that remembrance within as long as we can is a core foundational truth Natchiketa stands for. As our children are separated from our cord, we use natural products to keep them connected to the umbilical cord of Gaia for as long as possible. There is scientific proof that shows that using natural fibers helps our frequency, vibration and harmony with all that is. This is why we choose the materials we choose.
Going through the processes of production has a lot of working parts. We have worked hard to know and understand all parts of that process and source the highest quality fabrics we can and offer them to you in a quality way at an affordable price.
I’m proud of the product we offer to you. There were a lot of moments of “we can do better” throughout the sampling process and we kept improving over and over again till we created the product you have in your hands now. I wanted to have something that was natural. We wanted to have something that was organic. I wanted to create something that didn't bring in a lot of toxic chemicals into your home. We use organic cotton that is GOTS certified. I wanted it to feel luxurious, so we use 10 layers of cotton muslin that gives it this really fluffy feeling, almost cloudlike. We want to give an experience that gets better with time. There's nothing worse than buying something and you love it before you ever wash it, and then it starts to pill with wear or fall apart the minute you wash it. Your Natchiketa baby blankets and toddler quilts are like a fine wine that gets BETTER with time and softer the more loved they are. Natchiketa baby and toddler quilts do not pill or fade. They are built to withstand the demands of childhood.
I’m really excited about some of the products that are in development. We’ve got some things that we've made that are adorable and we're just figuring out how to make them the best they can be right now, so stay tuned to what we've got in the works.
If you’re new to the Natchiketa family and aren’t sure what you’re going to think; we know you’ll love the quality after you’ve washed them again and again and feel how soft they get and how well they hold up. Your kiddos are going to love our blankets. Not only will they feel the energy and love poured into the brand, but our prints are designed to foster and celebrate those tiny but powerful minds and help them develop their imagination and cocoon them in safety as they learn and grow. We see how much the kids love them in our photo shoots and when parents send us pictures of their kids with their blankets. Natchiketa baby blankets become the family favorite that HAVE to go everywhere. And that was exactly what we wanted to create.
Childhood is a fleeting moment of our lives, yet it builds the foundations for our very human existence. In a world of fast, we built something timeless and slow. We built the blanket that every child deserves to have. We all know what quality and luxury feels like. We all want things to feel comfortable and be well made and stand the test of time and we built a quilt that we hope gets packed up into every home that your child lives in as they grow up, move out and on as they eventually build their own little families. We’ve crafted something special to hold all those tender moments of this fertile, special time of their lives:
Family.
Wonder.
Love.
Welcome to The Natchiketa Family and Thank You so much for welcoming us into yours!
